Goshen Gives Back | October First Fridays
Friday, October 4, 5 – 9 p.m.
Eat, Drink, and Shop for a cause in October, and simultaneously support your favorite downtown business and Goshen nonprofit. Visit participating restaurants, bars, and merchants who’ve sponsored a Goshen-area nonprofit, and 10% of your purchase on First Fridays will be donated to the partner charity. Select downtown businesses will host activities for kids on this evening dedicated to getting together and giving back.
Entertainment
Eat, Drink and Shop for a cause! Support your favorite downtown business and Goshen nonprofit at the same time. Participating businesses will be donating 10% of their sales to a local non-profit of their choice.
- Stop by the Art Alley to enjoy some German-inspired tunes from Octubafest and to chat with the GHS German Club!
- Goshen College hosts Connectapalooza! at the Goshen Theater from 5 to 9 p.m. Stop by for a pretzel bar, a special Goshen Brewing Company beer release, live music, pictures with Dash the Squirrel, local artists, and a special announcement to kick off homecoming weekend!
- Listen to some great music from the Lost Luggage Trio at Goshen City Church of the Brethren starting at 5:30 p.m.

Food and Drink
Take a break and enjoy some great food downtown!
- Grab your first pint of Broken Shield Amber Lager, brewed in collaboration with Goshen College at Goshen Brewing Company. While you are there, enjoy live music from Organ Fairchild!

Look for free kids activities at participating stores!
- Create your own bookmark at Fables Books from 5 to 7 p.m.!

- Tour Goshen First Church from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in celebration of 150 years! After your tour grab refreshments from their Garden Room, or smores on the lawn provided by Boy Scout Troop 5.
- Take a selfie at the fall photo booth located inside the Goshen Historical Society!
Downtown merchants sponsor a Goshen-area nonprofit and donate 10% of their First Fridays sales.
